Sutton Ford (located in Matteson, IL) asked Converged Communication System help in optimizing technology to improve business efficiency. This multi location Automotive dealer has leveraged the Avaya IP Office phone system improve call center functions, mobility and to centralize resources. Sales people can log into any desk since during the common day multiple people share the same desk. This brings up the correct profile and messages that are specific to the user. The service department rolled out some enhancements to their call center to improve wait times and customer satisfaction. Their second site that housed a used car lot in a different area code added the IP Office SOHO unit for local dialtone presence and VoIP trunked to the main site to share dialtone and reception resources. Their third location was yet in another area code and dropped a point-point data T1 to access main database servers proving a WAN connection. Since this was in place and they needed to get it up and running pretty quickly, CCS deployed VoIP phones to the facility. They also leverages VoIP for overhead paging allowing the main site to overhead page across the WAN. Lastly, at their main site there are a few buildings connected with fiber which allowed those remote buildings network access. Thus, VoIP deskphones were extremely helpful. On top of that all the management from this system was provided in an easy to use windows based point and click application making changes quick, easy and painless.
